Verify Your Student Status

Eligibility:

The event is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who are currently enrolled as full-time or part-time students in recognized educational institutions worldwide.

Participants must have a valid academic email address (.edu, .ac) associated with their institution.

Verification Process:

Participants need to access the "Verify Your Student Status" functionality within the app

You must provide their valid academic email address to initiate the verification process.

Upon submission, a verification code will be sent to the provided academic email address.

Participants must insert the verification code inside the app to complete the verification process successfully.

Benefits:

Upon successful verification and click claim, participants will receive an up to 90% discount on the yearly WPS Pro plan. (Users who will have 90% off depends on your country)

Android and Windows participants will also be granted an additional 60 days of free WPS Pro

Verification Limit:

Each participant is eligible to verify their student status and claim the benefits once.

Expiry and Renewa:

The 90% discount is applicable to the WPS Pro Yearly plan.

Additional 60 days of free WPS Pro will be added after the expiration of the WPS Pro Yearly Plan

Subsequent renewals may be at the regular price, subject to the terms and conditions of the subscription.

Others:

The event will start at 15/08/2023 and end at 15/09/2023. After verification of students status, every participants will have 30 days time claim student benefits.

The academic email you have inserted will NOT related to your WPS Office account email, the academic email is ONLY used for verify student status. The benefits will distributed to your sign-in WPS Office account.

Referral Program

Eligibility:

Participants must have successfully completed the student verification process and claim the benefits ("Event 1") to be eligible for the referral program.

Referral Process:

After completing their own verification, participants can invite classmates by inserting their academic email addresses and sending invitation emails.

Alternatively, participants will receive a unique referral link that they can share with friends or fellow students.

Referral Rewards:

For each successful referral who completes the student verification process and finished payment using the participant's unique referral link, the participant will receive an extra 30 days of free WPS Pro.

There is a maximum limit of 10 successful referrals for each participant.

Eligibility of Referred Students:

Referred students must be currently enrolled as full-time or part-time students in recognized educational institutions with valid academic email addresses.

Reward Distribution:

Referral rewards will be automatically added to the participant's account upon successful verification and finished the payment of the referred student using the unique referral link.

Prohibited Activities:

Participants are prohibited from engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive practices to gain referrals.

Creating multiple accounts for the purpose of self-referral or other unethical practices is strictly prohibited.

1.What is the student verification process, and why do I need to provide my academic email?

To verify your student status, you need to provide your academic email address. Once you submit it, we'll send a verification code to that email to ensure you're a legitimate student and eligible for the student discount and extra WPS Pro days.

2.Should I sign in using my academic account or my WPS Office account?

Your academic email address is for verification purposes ONLY. If you already have a WPS Office account, you have to sign in using your WPS Office account. If you don’t have a WPS Office account, you can register by using your academic email address or other emails you preferred.

3.How long does it take to receive the verification code after submitting my academic email?

The time to receive the code can vary, but it typically arrives within a few minutes. It might take longer based on your email service provider and network conditions.

4.Can I use any email address for verification, or does it specifically have to be my academic email?

You must use your academic email for verification. This helps us validate your student status with your educational institution. If your academic email doesn't include .edu or .ac, click "I don’t have an .edu/.ac email" to report your situation.

5.What if I don't receive the verification code for my academic email?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, you can try the "Resend" option. Make sure you provided the correct academic email during verification.

6.Can I use the student discount and extra WPS Pro days if I'm not a new user?

Yes, both new and existing users can use the student discount and extra Pro days. Apply the discount and receive the additional Pro days after successful student verification.

7.How do I refer other students for verification, and how do I get the extra 30 days of free WPS Pro for each referral?

After your own verification, you can refer classmates by inserting their academic email addresses and sending invitation emails or sharing your unique referral link. When someone verifies their student status using your link and claims the benefits, you'll get the extra 30 days of free WPS Pro.

8.Is there a limit to the number of students I can refer, and what are the eligibility criteria for referred students?

You can refer up to 10 students. Referred students need valid academic email addresses from recognized educational institutions to qualify for verification.
